Del’s Popcorn Shop is excited to celebrate another successful community fundraiser, this time with Heartland CASA, an organization doing incredible work for local children in need. Together, we raised $231.96 in total sales, with $115.98 going directly to support their mission.

Heartland CASA

Heartland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) serves children across Macon, DeWitt, Christian, and Moultrie counties who have experienced abuse or neglect and are within the custody of the court system. These volunteer advocates are the voices for kids who might otherwise go unheard, standing beside them during some of the hardest moments of their young lives.

Fundraisers like this one, along with their Playhouse Raffle and Home for the Holidays Gala, make it possible for Heartland CASA to keep doing what they do best - training and supporting volunteers who fight for a brighter future for every child in their care.

The funds raised through the Del’s Popcorn Shop fundraiser will help them continue recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer advocates. It’ll also help them strengthen their community presence so more people can learn about the life-changing work they do.

Del's Popcorn Shop

Del’s Popcorn Shop has been part of the Central Illinois story for generations. It all started between the Great Depression and World War II when founder John Baldwin began selling popcorn and candy from his print shop in Springfield, Illinois.

From those humble beginnings grew a local favorite known for its handcrafted popcorn, caramel corn, fudge, and other nostalgic treats. Today, Del’s serves both local fans and popcorn lovers nationwide through its online store.

We’re proud to help schools, nonprofits, and community groups like Heartland CASA raise money through our virtual fundraising program. Seeing how these dollars directly impact real people and real causes is exactly why we do what we do.

If you’re part of a school, club, or organization that’s ready to make a difference, why not start your own fundraiser with Del’s? It’s simple, fun, and a great way to bring your community together.
