Del’s Popcorn Shop is proud to celebrate another successful community fundraiser, this time with the Rochester High School Sophomore Class. Together, we helped the group raise $595.21 from a total of $1190.42 in sales. These funds will support their goal of creating a memorable Junior Prom for the class next year.
Ellie Gross, national sales manager at Del’s, shared her thoughts on working with the students. “The Rochester High School Sophomore Class brought great energy and purpose to this effort. They were organized, motivated, and easy to work with.”

Del’s Popcorn Shop
Del’s is a long-standing popcorn and confectionery shop based in Mt. Zion, Illinois. Its story began in the years between the Great Depression and World War II, when founder John Baldwin started selling popcorn and candy out of his print shop. His made from scratch recipes and attention to quality set the foundation for the company’s future.
Today, Del’s continues to serve Central Illinois with the same commitment to craft. The shop offers a wide range of classic treats including seasoned popcorn, cheddar cheese popcorn, caramel corn, fudge, peanut brittle, and caramel apples. Families across generations have grown up enjoying Del’s, and in recent years these favorites have expanded nationwide through online ordering at www.delspopcornshop.com.
Del’s has also become a trusted choice for schools, nonprofits and community groups looking for a simple way to raise money. Through its virtual fundraising program, organizations can share delicious popcorn while earning support for the goals that matter most to them.
