Decatur, IL – 11/1/2025
Del’s Popcorn Shop is excited to celebrate another successful community fundraiser, this time supporting the Jerome R Gorin Chapter of DeMolay. Together, we helped raise $182.41 through total sales of $364.81 - a great example of what happens when local supporters come together for a good cause.
The funds raised will help these young men participate in upcoming chapter events, including their annual Sports Rally weekend filled with games, camping, and teamwork, as well as their entry in the local Christmas parade. Both activities play an important role in building leadership, friendship, and community spirit among the members.
Ellie Gross, Del’s National Sales Manager, shared her excitement about the partnership, saying, “We’re proud to work with organizations like the Jerome R Gorin Chapter of DeMolay. They’re shaping the next generation of community leaders, and it’s an honor to support their goals.”
Jerome R Gorin Chapter of DeMolay
The Jerome R Gorin Chapter of DeMolay provides a space for young men ages 12 to 21 to grow into tomorrow’s leaders. Their programs encourage responsibility, teamwork, and service, helping members develop strong moral values and leadership skills through community involvement and personal growth activities.

Del’s Popcorn Shop has been a Central Illinois favorite since the 1930s, proudly serving handcrafted popcorn and sweets made the old-fashioned way. What began as John Baldwin’s small popcorn and candy counter has grown into a beloved brand with fans across the country. From caramel corn and cheddar popcorn to fudge and caramel apples, Del’s continues to serve generations of families while supporting local communities through its Virtual Popcorn Fundraising Program.
