Springfield, IL – 5/19/2025 – There’s something special about popcorn bringing people together, especially when it’s for a good cause. We’re excited to share another small but meaningful win from one of our recent fundraising partners, United Way of Central Illinois. Through our popcorn fundraiser, this dedicated organization raised over $50 to support the important work they do every day. While the numbers might seem modest, we know that every dollar can make a difference.

For those who don’t know us yet, Del’s Popcorn Shop has been a part of the Springfield, IL community since way back, even before World War II. We’ve been around a long time, and we still make our popcorn the old-fashioned way: fresh, simple, and with plenty of care.
Over the years, we’ve grown from a local favorite to a national brand, offering our treats online and helping groups raise funds with our virtual popcorn fundraising program. Whether it’s seasoned popcorn, rich caramel corn, or melt-in-your-mouth fudge, we’ve got something for everyone.
And helping others? That’s just part of who we are. Working with community organizations like United Way of Central Illinois makes what we do even sweeter.
