Del’s Popcorn Shop is excited to celebrate another successful fundraiser for a local school community. The Central A&M High School Class of 2029 recently wrapped up an online popcorn fundraiser that generated $1,056.47 in total sales, helping the class raise $528.24 for upcoming student activities.

The funds will help support the class’s future junior prom expenses, giving students the chance to create a memorable night when the time comes. Community members showed their support by purchasing fresh popcorn and classic sweet treats, turning everyday snack cravings into real support for local students.

“The Central A&M High School Class of 2029 represents exactly the kind of community effort we love to support,” said Ellie Gross, national sales manager at Del’s Popcorn Shop. “When students, families, and neighbors come together around a shared goal, great things happen. We’re proud to play a small role in helping them reach it.”

Central A&M High School Class of 2029

The Central A&M High School Class of 2029 is a group of motivated students working together to build memorable experiences throughout their high school years. Like many classes across the country, they organize fundraisers to help cover the cost of important events that bring students together.

This year’s fundraiser focused on raising money for their future junior prom. School dances are a big milestone for many students, and planning them takes time, effort, and community support. Through their online fundraiser, the class was able to invite friends, family members, and supporters to participate from anywhere by purchasing popcorn and sweet treats online.

Every order helped move them closer to their goal while giving supporters something they could genuinely enjoy. It is a simple idea that works well. People love good snacks, and students gain meaningful support for their school activities.

Del’s Popcorn Shop

Del’s is a gourmet retail popcorn and confectionery based in Mt. Zion, IL. Del’s was stitched into the fabric of Central Illinois at a time after the Great Depression and before World War II. The ingredients and approach to creation reflect a classic American tradition.

During a time when the American Dream was growing strong, an entrepreneur named John Baldwin began selling popcorn and candy from his print shop. That small beginning grew into a beloved local tradition. Del’s has been serving the Central Illinois community ever since.

Today Del’s offers a wide menu of cooked from scratch popcorn and confectionery products including seasoned popcorn, cheddar cheese popcorn, caramel corn, fudge, peanut brittle, and caramel apples. The shop has built a loyal customer base that spans multiple generations.

In recent years, Del’s expanded its reach by offering its favorite products nationwide through its online store. At the same time, the company developed a virtual fundraising program that helps schools, teams, churches, and nonprofit groups raise money without the hassle of handling inventory.

Organizations can run their fundraiser entirely online while supporters simply place an order and enjoy fresh snacks delivered to their door.

If your school, team, or organization is looking for a simple way to raise funds, you can learn more and start a popcorn fundraiser.
