Peoria Fundraiser Supports Alzheimer's Research and Care

Every little bit helps when it comes to supporting a cause that touches so many lives. Through its virtual popcorn fundraiser with Del’s Popcorn Shop, the Alzheimer’s Association raised $63.46 from $126.91 in total sales.

The funds will help support people affected by Alzheimer’s disease, provide care and support for those facing the disease, and contribute to research, awareness, and advocacy efforts.

This fundraiser is a reminder that communities can make a difference by coming together to support a cause that matters.

Supporting the Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer’s Association works to support people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and advance efforts to address the challenges it brings to individuals, families, and communities.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee is a volunteer group that plans and organizes the Decatur Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Committee members work together to raise funds, increase community awareness, recruit corporate sponsors, and coordinate event-day activities.

Through their efforts, the committee helps bring people together around a shared goal: supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s and contributing to the fight against the disease.

The money raised through this Del’s fundraiser will help support care and services for people facing Alzheimer’s, while also contributing to research, public awareness, and advocacy.
