Mt. Zion, IL – 4/10/2025 – Del’s Popcorn Shop is proud to share another successful fundraiser with a committed youth group from Central Illinois. Through our partnership, we helped raise $176.40 for Bethel 49, Decatur, IL Job’s Daughters, with total sales reaching $352.80.
“The Bethel 49 organization is a great example of a worthy cause. They met all the criteria for us as a long-term community partner,” explained Ellie Gross, Del’s national sales manager. “We love these teams, and we love these kids. We are so happy we can play a part in their story.”
Bethel 49, Decatur, IL Job’s Daughters
Job’s Daughters Bethel 49 is part of a youth leadership organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20. The group focuses on building strong leadership skills, encouraging sisterhood, promoting public speaking, and inspiring community service. What makes this organization unique is that it's led by the girls themselves, helping them grow through hands-on leadership experience.
Del’s Popcorn Shop
Del’s is a gourmet retail popcorn and candy shop based in Springfield, IL. It was founded between the Great Depression and World War II, when local entrepreneur John Baldwin began selling sweets out of his print shop. Today, Del’s remains a local favorite, known for classic, handmade treats like caramel corn, cheddar popcorn, fudge, peanut brittle, and more.
Del’s continues to support communities not only in Central Illinois, but across the country, offering a simple and fun way for organizations to raise money through its Virtual Popcorn Fundraising platform.
